Yongma Logistics, a logistics subsidiary of Dong-A Socio Holdings, posted record-breaking performance last year, solidifying its position as a leader in health and beauty-focused logistics.

Financial reports released on Wednesday through the Financial Supervisory Service’s electronic disclosure system reveal that Yongma Logistics saw a 5.9% year-over-year increase in revenue for 2025, reaching 423.8 billion KRW (approximately 281 million USD). The company’s operating profit also surged by 10.6% to 21 billion KRW (about 13.9 million USD).

This marks the second consecutive year of record-setting revenue for the company, which first crossed the 400 billion KRW (about 265 million USD) threshold in 2024. Additionally, operating profit exceeded 20 billion KRW (13.3 million USD) for the first time in the company’s history.

Company officials attribute this success to their strategic focus on enhancing logistics infrastructure for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, coupled with an integrated logistics service approach. Yongma Logistics offers a comprehensive suite of services, seamlessly connecting parcel delivery, transportation, storage, and international logistics operations.

The boom in K-beauty and K-food exports has also played a significant role in boosting the company’s performance, driving up cargo volumes.

Operational efficiency improvements have been key to enhancing profitability. The company has optimized work processes and equipment utilization at its logistics centers, while leveraging data-driven strategies to redesign transportation routes and improve dispatch efficiency, resulting in substantial cost savings.

In the storage sector, Yongma Logistics has successfully expanded its client base and increased volumes from existing customers by offering tailored services that cater to the unique needs of health, beauty, and pharmaceutical clients.

The company is on the brink of a major milestone with the imminent completion of its new hub logistics center in Anseong. Once operational, this state-of-the-art facility is expected to significantly boost the company’s logistics processing capacity and pave the way for future growth.

A spokesperson for Yongma Logistics stated that despite challenging market conditions, they’ve managed to improve both the top and bottom lines through operational efficiencies and the specialized logistics expertise. Looking ahead, they’re committed to further strengthening the capabilities in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, health, and beauty logistics. The investments in new infrastructure will serve as a solid foundation for sustained growth.
