Ceragem Clinical announced that its human simulation model has been published in the March issue of Annals of Biomedical Engineering, an SCI-indexed international journal.

The model, developed in collaboration with KAIST Future Healthcare Center, is designed for clinical use with Intermittent Pneumatic Compression devices. It is based on a multi-fidelity fluid-structure interaction approach that combines 1D and 3D analysis to improve both accuracy and efficiency.

Unlike traditional 3D simulations, which are time-intensive and less adaptable to individual differences, this method enables precise modeling in complex areas while simplifying calculations elsewhere.

Ceragem Clinical plans to use this technology to enhance automated compression control based on individual physiology, with applications across its healthcare devices, including spinal care systems, massage chairs, and future wearable solutions.
