The K-pop sensation held a press conference on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. (Korean time) at the Conrad Seoul Hotel to promote their latest mini-album, THIS & THAT.
Set to drop on Friday at 1:00 p.m. (Korean time), THIS & THAT follows their groundbreaking achievement as the first global act to top the Billboard 200 for eight consecutive weeks with their SKZ IT TAPE DO IT. The new release has fans worldwide on the edge of their seats.
When asked about military service, Lino responded that serving the country is a given. When the time comes, it’ll fulfill the duty with pride. While it hasn’t ironed out the details for the post-military comeback, one thing’s for sure – it’ll be back together. The recent concerts showed us just how many fans are waiting, and they’re eager to return that love after the service. So hang tight, it won’t be gone long, he added with a smile.
True to its title, THIS & THAT, is a testament to Stray Kids’ versatility and well-earned confidence. The album promises to once again showcase their expansive musical range, offering a summer playlist that runs the gamut from cool, refreshing tracks to high-energy bangers.
The group’s in-house production team 3RACHA – comprising Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han – has crafted a diverse tracklist. It includes the pre-release single “RUN IT,” which the group considers quintessentially SKZ, “FARMING” (inspired by the “aura farming” meme), the breezy “AFTER YOU,” the 2000s pop-tinged “I DO,” the linguistically impressive “WAY OUT,” and “THAT DAY” (inspired by a TV drama). The album rounds off with a festival version of the title track, promising an even more exhilarating listening experience.
Ahead of the album launch, Stray Kids kicked off their new world tour RUN IT with electrifying performances at Seoul’s KSPO DOME on July 25-26, 29, and August 1-2.
