CBRE Korea has played a crucial role in the U.S. debut of Blue Elephant, a Korean eyewear brand, by providing site selection and lease advisory services for its first American flagship store.

CBRE Korea reports that Blue Elephant inaugurated its premier U.S. flagship store last month, occupying approximately 650 square meters (7,000 square feet) on North Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills, California.

Leveraging its expertise in product development and retail operations honed in South Korea, the brand has expanded into the North American market following its successful venture in Japan.

CBRE Korea’s retail team assisted Blue Elephant’s North American market entry by offering local site assessments and lease consultations aligned with the brand’s retail strategy.

The store is strategically positioned in the Golden Triangle, a prime retail district home to world-renowned luxury brands, including the iconic Rodeo Drive, as well as upscale global brands and high-end restaurants.

Drawing on its global network, CBRE conducted thorough analyses of potential locations, evaluating factors such as neighboring brand profiles, accessibility, and brand exposure potential.

The firm also provided guidance on local leasing practices and negotiated key contract terms on behalf of the client.

Kim Yong-woo, Executive Director of Retail at CBRE Korea, emphasized the company’s commitment to strengthening its role as a strategic partner for Korean retail brands seeking international expansion and long-term growth, leveraging CBRE’s extensive global network and data-driven market analysis capabilities.
