Apple is set to host its new product launch event on Thursday, generating anticipation among tech enthusiasts. The company is expected to unveil new products, including the iPhone SE 4 and AirTag 2.

Last week, Apple CEO Tim Cook teased the event on X, urging followers to “get ready to meet the new family” alongside a cryptic image.

Cook also shared the product launch schedule using hashtags like #AppleLaunch and “Wednesday, February 19.” In typical Apple fashion, the exact timing of the product reveal remains under wraps, heightening the sense of anticipation.

While the precise hour has yet to be announced, speculation is rife that the unveiling will occur in the early hours of Thursday. For instance, past events introduced the iPhone 16 at 10 a.m. Pacific and the iPhone SE 3 at 11 a.m.

The iPhone SE 4, the latest in Apple’s budget-friendly smartphone line, is expected to be the event’s highlight. Rumors suggest that the iPhone SE 4 will include the A18 mobile processor found in the iPhone 16 series, 8GB of RAM, a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, and a USB-C port. It’s also likely to support Apple’s AI service, Apple Intelligence.

The new model is anticipated to start at $499, a slight bump from its predecessor, the iPhone SE 3, which debuted at $429. Some industry watchers suggest Cook’s “new family” comment might hint at a potential rebranding of the iPhone SE line.

In addition to the iPhone SE 4, speculation surrounds other potential reveals. The circular shape in the teaser image has sparked rumors of an AirTag 2 announcement. Additional products that might share the spotlight include a MacBook Air featuring the new M4 chipset and an 11th-generation iPad.

This launch follows Apple’s 2022 event, which introduced the iPhone SE 3 alongside the 5th generation iPad Air.
