The K-pop group SEVENTEEN has reached double million-seller status with its latest comeback.

According to the HANTEO Chart, SEVENTEEN’s mini album, SPILL THE FEELS, recorded sales of 2,494,180 copies sold on its release day, securing the top spot on the daily album chart.

Following the release of its best album on April 29, SEVENTEEN achieved this milestone in just one day with its mini album. The group is the only K-pop artist this year to surpass 2 million sales on the first day, underscoring its immense influence in the music industry.

Its global popularity is equally remarkable. Shortly after its release, the album quickly climbed to the top of the iTunes Top Albums chart in 18 countries and regions, including Macau, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Turkey. This success also propelled it to second on the Worldwide iTunes Albums chart.

The title track “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” (feat. DJ Khaled) has made a strong impression, debuting at number one on the Bugs real-time chart on its release day. It also secured high positions on major music platforms such as Melon’s Top 100 and Genie. Other tracks from the album, including “Eyes on You,” “1 TO 13,” “Candy,” “Rain,” and “Water,” have also achieved notable chart success.

SEVENTEEN’s mini album SPILL THE FEELS conveys a powerful message about trusting one another and sharing emotions to navigate struggles. The album title, an anagram of the phrase “I felt powerless,” reflects SEVENTEEN’s commitment to supporting and comforting those who have experienced sadness from being unable to express their true feelings.

The track “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” features a groovy melody typical of R&B and hip-hop, making it highly addictive. The lyrics, “All I want is your love,” encapsulate the album’s core message and express SEVENTEEN’s genuine affection for its fans, known as Carats.

SEVENTEEN is set to connect with fans through music broadcasts, including Mnet’s M Countdown, starting this Thursday (October 17) and its world tour. The tour launched with a spectacular performance at the Goyang Sports Complex on the weekend, drawing over 58,000 attendees, and will continue to major cities across the U.S., Japan, and Asia.
