According to the Navy, the two leaders discussed military diplomacy between the two navies, including high-level exchanges, personnel, and educational exchanges, defense industry cooperation, manned-unmanned complex combat systems, and ways to strengthen multi-domain maritime security cooperation.

The Navy explained, “The Republic of Korea and Turkiye navies have maintained a close cooperative relationship by running the annual “Navy-to-Navy Talks” regular meeting since 2008. Through Adm. Tatlıoğlu’s visit, both navies have further solidified their mutual relationship for maritime security and defense industry cooperation.”
