Chabot Mobility announced on Thursday that it has been officially selected as a resident company at the K-Startup Center (KSC) within the Silicon Valley Startup & Venture Campus (SVC), an initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

This selection paves the way for Chabot Mobility to establish a presence near Menlo Park, California, accelerating its global market expansion efforts.

The K-Startup Center is a collaborative project involving key organizations, including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Korea Venture Investment Corp., Korea Small Business Corporation, Korea Startup Agency, and Korea Technology Finance Corporation. It offers a comprehensive One-Roof system that facilitates investment connections, commercialization support, and network building.

A spokesperson for Chabot Mobility said the company’s selection as a resident firm followed a thorough evaluation of its technological prowess, business potential, and scalability, adding that the recognition validates its competitiveness as a data-driven mobility platform on the global stage.

In the San Francisco area, Chabot Mobility plans to initiate Proof of Concept (PoC) projects with local auto repair shops, dealer groups, and insurtech companies to develop tailored product structures and service models.

The company also aims to secure a solid foundation for attracting investments by forging partnerships with local accelerators, global venture capital firms, and strategic networks.

Following its Series C funding, Chabot Mobility is exploring global investment opportunities and seeking collaborations with key players in the maintenance, insurance, and mobility data infrastructure sectors.

The company has already built a track record of international business development through its participation in a Mongolian government-led mobility program, establishing partnerships in Japan, and being selected for global acceleration programs.

Kang Sung Keun, CEO of Chabot Mobility, emphasized that establishing a presence in Silicon Valley marks a crucial milestone in validating the company’s technological competitiveness and expanding its business model at the center of the U.S. mobility industry. He added that the company is committed to leveraging its extensive experience in platform operations and data capabilities to strengthen its position in the global market.
