HanmiGlobal announced on Tuesday that its U.S. subsidiary, OTAK, has secured an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the National Park Service, a division of the U.S. Department of the Interior.

IDIQ contracts are a key procurement method used by the federal government, allowing agencies to place orders for services as needed without specifying exact quantities upfront.

OTAK joins an elite group of eight major U.S. engineering firms, including industry giants AECOM and Jacobs, in winning this competitive bid.

The scope of work covers comprehensive design and engineering services for upgrading and maintaining aging infrastructure across America’s national parks. Projects will include modernizing water and wastewater systems, renovating buildings and facilities, refurbishing visitor centers and housing, and repairing roads, parking areas, and bridges.

With its strong local expertise and extensive network, OTAK is well-positioned to execute these diverse architectural and engineering projects. This partnership not only strengthens OTAK’s relationship with the National Park Service but also promises a steady stream of revenue.

A spokesperson for HanmiGlobal emphasized that this contract cements our long-term collaboration with the U.S. federal government. They’re committed to expanding the footprint in the U.S. public infrastructure sector.
