Dartmouth College, an Ivy League institution, has disclosed its investment in cryptocurrency-related exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

On May 14, the Dartmouth Board of Trustees revealed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it holds 3.3 million USD (approximately 5 billion KRW) worth of Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF.

The college also announced its holdings in Grayscale’s Ethereum Staking ETF and BlackRock’s Bitcoin spot ETF, iShares.

Dartmouth manages an endowment of approximately 9 billion USD and has reportedly increased its allocation to crypto-related investments since January of this year.

This move is not unprecedented among Ivy League institutions. Harvard University, which oversees a 57 billion USD endowment, disclosed in January that it also holds BlackRock’s Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs.
