German soccer powerhouse Football Club (FC) Bayern Munich has fallen head over heels for BTS member V.

The club has been making waves on social media with its regular BTS-related posts, capturing the attention of both soccer enthusiasts and ARMY members worldwide.

On July 11 and 12, BTS set the stage ablaze at Bayern’s home turf, Allianz Arena. The 75,000-capacity stadium was electric as the K-pop sensations connected with their German fans over two unforgettable nights.

During this time, Bayern Munich kept the BTS content flowing on their social platforms and even presented the group members with personalized team jerseys.

Bayern’s South Korean defender Kim Min-jae also joined the fun, appearing on the team’s feed. Holding up a Bayern jersey emblazoned with BTS’s name, Kim shared his excitement that he can’t wait to see the show at Allianz Arena.

The excitement reached fever pitch when V and J-Hope took to the stage sporting their gifted Bayern jerseys. This sent the club’s social media into overdrive. Bayern’s Instagram lit up with posts exclaiming, “V and J-Hope are rocking our colors!” followed by a flurry of videos showing the duo belting out tunes in their new threads.

Adding fuel to the fan frenzy, a Bayern Munich social media manager revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that their favorite BTS member is “Taehyung (V).” This isn’t the first time the club has shown V some love – they previously named him their top pick on their official TikTok account in 2023.

As BTS wrapped up their German leg, entertaining over 100,000 fans, their unexpected collaboration with FC Bayern Munich created a unique crossover moment, delighting both soccer aficionados and the ARMY alike.

Meanwhile, BTS continues to dominate stages worldwide with their ongoing ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG’ tour.
