
YG Entertainment is set to host its first large-scale global audition in two years.
The company announced on Wednesday that it will conduct the 2026 YG Global Audition from July through December.
The audition series kicked off successfully in Beijing, China, on July 19. It will then move to Chengdu (July 25), Shanghai (August 1), Shenzhen (August 9), and Japan’s Tokyo (August 9) and Osaka (September 20). Starting October, the talent search will expand to the United States, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, followed by Thailand and Canada in November. The global hunt will conclude in Australia and New Zealand in December.
The audition is open to individuals born between 2008 and 2015, regardless of gender or nationality. Participants can showcase their skills in singing, rapping, dancing, or visuals. This year, YG has broadened the categories to include acting and other special talents.
Registration methods, whether online or on-site, vary by location. Specific details about audition venues and schedules will be released progressively on YG’s official audition website and social media platforms.
