Prime Minister Kim Min Seok is set to embark on a two-night, five-day visit to the United States from January 22 to 26.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced on Wednesday that Kim will be traveling to Washington D.C. and New York during this period.
During his U.S. visit, Prime Minister Kim has scheduled meetings with high-ranking U.S. government officials, discussions with members of the U.S. House of Representatives, and gatherings with Korean-American communities.
The Prime Minister’s Office expressed optimism that this trip, which marks Kim’s first overseas engagement since taking office, will make a positive contribution to the stable continuation and strengthening of U.S.-South Korea relations.
