On the 17th, the U.S. Billboard announced on its official X account and website that Jungkook’s digital single “Never Let Go,” released on the 7th, debuted at 97th place on the main song chart Hot 100 (as of June 22). This marks Jungkook’s seventh entry into the Hot 100 as a solo artist, setting a new record for the most songs on the chart by a K-pop solo artist. Jungkook is also the only Korean solo artist to have three songs in the Hot 100 top 10.
“Never Let Go” demonstrates the ongoing global popularity of Jungkook and BTS, as it reached the Hot 100 chart based on music streaming numbers and lyric video views, even without official promotions.
Jungkook charted on the Hot 100 with the following songs:
- HYBE original story 7FATES: CHAKHO OST “Stay Alive (Prod. Suga of BTS)” (95th)
- Collaboration song with Charlie Puth “Left and Right (Feat. Jungkook of BTS)” (22nd)
- His solo single “Seven (feat. Lato)” (1st)
- “3D (feat. Jack Harlow)” (5th)

“Never Let Go” ranked 60th on the U.K. official chart, one of the world’s two major music charts alongside the U.S. Billboard. Similarly to Billboard, Jungkook set a new record for the most chart entries by a K-pop solo artist on the official chart with his seventh solo song.
This song, a fan song released as part of the FESTA festival celebrating BTS’s debut anniversary on June 13, is an English track with a house rhythm. It carries the message, “Let’s never let go of each other’s hands.” Jungkook contributed to both the lyrics and composition, highlighting his artistic talents.
