In its latest music video, stray Kids expressed disbelief and excitement regarding Ryan Reynolds’s appearance, stating, “He was the one who proposed the idea, and it still feels surreal to see him on screen.”

To celebrate the release of its new mini album, ATE, Stray Kids held a press conference at 11 a.m. today at the Conrad Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

The new album ATE symbolizes devouring or consuming everything. The term ATE is also used to signify rocking the stage, creatively capturing the essence of eight members dominating the stage.

The title track, “Chik Chik Boom,” blends Latin-style hip-hop rhythms with powerful performances, presenting a relaxed yet robust vibe that balances restraint with swagger.

Chang Bin elaborated on the title track’s lyrics and their initial motivations, stating, “Despite feeling joy performing in front of our devoted STAYs (Stray Kids’ fandom name), there’s still a lingering hunger.” He emphasized, “Our team possesses considerable ambition, and I believe our greatest asset lies in everyone’s dedication to fulfilling our respective roles.”

The previously released music video for the title track “Chik Chik Boom” gained significant attention for featuring appearances by world-renowned actors and Stray Kids fans, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

Stray Kids will release their digital single “SLASH” on the 23rd. The new song will be featured in the Korean release of the movie Deadpool and Wolverine on the 24th. Since the unveiling of the Deadpool and Wolverine OST tracklist, it has captured immense interest from movie enthusiasts worldwide and music fans.

Bang Chan shared his thoughts on the collaboration, stating, “Even when we watch the music video, it still doesn’t feel real.” He explained, “We have a longer history with Reynolds than expected. We got to know each other through our stages and social media, and we finally got the chance to collaborate this time.” He added, “While we were in New York, we connected, and Reynolds expressed his interest in appearing first.”
