South Korea’s College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) for the 2025 academic year will be held nationwide on the 14th. This year’s test takers are mainly third-year high school students born in 2006, including several actors and singers from the entertainment industry.

Among K-pop idols, Park Ji Hoo of the group EVNNE will be taking the CSAT. Park Ji Hoo, currently studying practical dance at Hanlim Multi Art School, debuted with EVNNE in September 2023 and has been actively promoting until recently.

On Thursday, he told News1, “Good luck to all test takers, and fighting to the fellow student ENNVEs who are also taking the test.”

Makaya and Kim Seung Mo of Ampersand One will also temporarily assume the roles of students rather than singers as they sit for the CSAT. Makaya, who holds Australian citizenship due to his Australian father, expressed his determination to balance academics and his career in South Korea by participating in the CSAT.

Makaya shared with News1, “After attending school in Australia, I started attending school in Korea, so I’m both excited and nervous about taking the CSAT, but I’m determined to do my best.” Kim Seung Mo added, “Of course, I’ll be nervous, but I hope everyone takes the test comfortably while enjoying the tension.”

Additionally, Eunsup of Lun8 and Kim Do Gyun of 82MAJOR will also take the CSAT on this day. Among female idols, Seowon of Lapillus will take the test, and singer Jeon Yoo Jin, who gained recognition on The King of Mask Singer, will also participate as a student.

Among actors, Gal So Won, known for being Yesung in the movie Miracle in Cell No. 7, will take the CSAT. Gal So-won, currently a Jeju Hanlim High School student, is expected to take the test at a school in Jeju.
