NCT’s Taeyong is set to share his true, authentic self through his second solo album, TAP.
Taeyong releases his second mini-album, TAP, on February 26. The album contains a total of 6 songs, all of which were composed and written by Taeyong himself. It is expected to tell his own authentic story.
Taeyong’s “Run Away” is a warm rock ballad, but a sudden mid-song shift electrifies the mood. Honest lyrics about a lost love blend with his powerful vocals for a refreshingly unique sound.
“APE,” a hip-hop track where Taeyong sheds his facade, reveals his assured artist persona and hidden anxieties. The song pulsates with a heavy bassline, bursts with vibrant percussion, and experiments with vocal effects, culminating in a powerful impression.
“404 Loading” completes the story begun in “404 File Not Found” from his first mini-album track, transitioning from sadness to a powerful desire for connection. This final track leaves a lasting impression and fuels anticipation for Taeyong’s next chapter.
Ahead of releasing his second mini-album on February 26, Taeyong is set to perform his solo concert at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul, on February 24 and 25.
