The K-pop girl group BabyMonster has officially confirmed the release of its first full-length album, DRIP, on November 1.

Its agency, YG Entertainment, announced yesterday through its official blog that the highly anticipated debut album will drop on November 1.

In a video shared the same day, chief producer Yang Hyun Suk detailed the nine tracks featured on DRIP, generating considerable excitement. He also revealed an innovative pre-promotion strategy and expressed aspirations for a global tour planned for next year.

Yang has been at the helm of BabyMonster since its inception, leading the group to officially debut as a seven-member ensemble on April 1 of this year. Despite being newcomers with less than a year of experience, they have already achieved remarkable global success, showcasing impressive milestones that are hard to believe.

As interest in BabyMonster‘s debut album grows, Yang shared his enthusiasm, stating, “I really like this album,” underscoring his confidence in the tracks. The unique promotional strategy introduced is expected to heighten anticipation for its comeback further. Starting this week, the group plans to pre-release approximately one-minute snippets of two tracks per week, excluding the title song, a move that has captured public attention.

This debut album is set to be a major project with the full backing of YG Entertainment. Yang also mentioned, “We plan to film at least three music videos for BabyMonsters album,” expressing his deep affection and confidence in its first full-length release.

Notably, Yang surprised fans by announcing that G-Dragon contributed to the songwriting of the title track “DRIP,” significantly raising expectations.

Yang stated, “Fans can look forward to enjoying BabyMonster‘s new songs with excitement every week,” adding, “I hope everyone can share in this experience and enjoy it together until the official release on November 1.”
