SEVENTEEN won the Top K-Pop Tour award at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards.
SEVENTEEN received the Top K-Pop Tour award during this year’s ceremony. SEVENTEEN said in their video acceptance speech, “We have always tried to present great music and performances. “They added, “Once again, we want to thank CARATs and everyone who supported SEVENTEEN’s tour.”
They further expressed their aspirations: “We will continue to deliver positive energy and happiness through our music.”
Meanwhile, Stray Kids was nominated for the top duo/group category at this year’s ceremony, and Jungkook of BTS was nominated for the Top Song Sales Artist category.
Awards were given in the four K-pop categories introduced last year: Top Global K-pop artist, Top K-pop tour, Top K-pop album, and Top Global K-pop song.
The Billboard Music Awards are considered one of the three major U.S. music award shows, alongside the American Music Awards and the Grammy Awards. This year’s ceremony featured performances by Stray Kids and SEVENTEEN.
