BTS has once again shattered records with their music video views.

HYBE announced on Thursday that BTS’s “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)” music video surpassed 1.6 billion views on YouTube at approximately 6:37 p.m. (KST) on Wednesday.

This marks the group’s fourth music video to reach the 1.6 billion view milestone, following their hits “Dynamite,” “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey),” and “DNA.”

Released on November 24, 2017, “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)” is a reimagining of the track from BTS’s fifth mini-album, LOVE YOURSELF 承 ‘Her‘. World-renowned DJ Steve Aoki transformed the original into an electro trap banger.

The track made waves upon its release, debuting at No. 28 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and maintaining its position for an impressive 10 consecutive weeks.

Since their debut in 2013, BTS has skyrocketed to fame with chart-toppers like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “Permission to Dance,” cementing their status as global pop icons. Following their military service hiatus, the group dropped their fifth studio album Arirang in March and is currently electrifying audiences on their world tour.
