LG Household & Health Care’s premium scalp care brand, Dr. Groot, has officially launched in Sephora’s brick-and-mortar stores across the U.S., the company announced on Wednesday.

As of August 15, Dr. Groot introduced 14 products in 424 Sephora locations nationwide. This expansion follows the brand’s online debut on Sephora.com in March, a soft launch in about 90 key stores in May, and now this major offline rollout.

The star of the show in these physical stores is Dr. Groot’s Scalp Revitalizing Solution line, which showcases the brand’s cutting-edge scalp science. Headliners include the Hair Thickening Shampoo and the innovative Miracle In-Shower Treatment, which transforms into a creamy texture when wet.

The Roll-On Serum is turning heads as the latest must-have. This clever product combines a roll-on applicator with a scalp serum, allowing users to massage the product directly onto their scalp. It’s a game-changer for easy application and instant scalp care.

Get ready for some serious brand activation! Dr. Groot is set to host pop-up events in major cities like New York and Los Angeles early next month. These events will feature hands-on product testing stations, QR codes linking to nearby Sephora stores, and mini kits to entice visitors to make a purchase.

Dr. Groot’s skyrocketing success in North America has given LG Household & Health Care’s sales figures a major boost. The company’s North American revenue hit 205.8 billion KRW (about 147 million USD) in Q2 this year – a whopping 47.3% increase from last year. For the first time ever, it outpaced sales in China, which totaled 176 billion KRW (about 126 million USD).

An LG Household & Health Care spokesperson gushed that launching in Sephora stores – the holy grail of North American beauty trends – proves that Dr. Groot has successfully carved out its niche as a premium brand in this market. It’s committed to delivering top-notch solutions tailored to American hair and scalp needs, aiming to become the go-to premium scalp and hair care brand in North America.
