On March 27, 2026, Lee Min-kyung, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CareLabs, unveiled ambitious plans to expand into the senior care market, signaling a major shift in the company’s business strategy.

Addressing shareholders at the annual meeting, Lee emphasized that as the population rapidly ages, they’re seizing the opportunity to enter the senior care market. The focus will be on rehabilitation and comprehensive care services. By leveraging our digital healthcare expertise, it aims to create powerful synergies and establish a robust growth structure. The year 2026 will be pivotal in laying the groundwork for this turnaround.

Lee further committed that CareLabs will take a proactive and responsible approach to bolster the competitiveness and profitability of the existing core businesses.

During the meeting, shareholders reaffirmed their confidence in Lee’s leadership by re-electing her as CEO. Lee has been instrumental in shaping CareLabs’ direction since joining as an inside director following Wonik Holdings’ acquisition in 2023. She assumed the role of CEO in January 2025.

Over the past decade, CareLabs has revolutionized the healthcare experience through its suite of innovative platforms. These include Babitalk, a medical beauty platform; Goodoc, which facilitates telemedicine and hospital appointments; and Healo, an integrated support system for cancer patients throughout their treatment journey.

Goodoc stands out by offering a comprehensive hospital search function and virtual consultation experiences. Meanwhile, Babitalk empowers users with in-depth beauty and treatment information, aiding in informed decision-making. Together, these platforms create a seamless user journey across the healthcare spectrum, from initial exploration to selection, experience, and ongoing management.

Building on this solid foundation, CareLabs is now poised to make a significant entry into the senior care market, aiming to secure new avenues for growth.

The company’s strategy involves harnessing the vast data accumulated by subsidiaries like Goodoc and Babitalk, integrating it with cutting-edge artificial intelligence to create powerful synergies with existing digital healthcare platforms. Long-term, CareLabs envisions a unified ecosystem under the One CareLabs initiative.

In other business, shareholders approved several key items during the meeting. These included Lee’s reappointment as an inside director, the 2025 financial statements, amendments to company bylaws, and the appointment of new outside directors. All proposals passed as originally presented.
