Wontech, a laser and energy-based medical solutions company, is intensifying its efforts to penetrate the Chinese market by hosting its global brand event, Wave, in four key cities: Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

The Wontech Advanced Visionary Exchange (Wave) event is a platform for Wontech to directly share its technological prowess, clinical expertise, and global vision with healthcare professionals and partners worldwide.

Following successful events in Seoul and Denver this past March, the company is now expanding its reach to these four major Chinese cities. China represents a strategic market that Wontech has identified as its next growth engine.

Wontech is accelerating its global business expansion, with a focus on its subsidiaries in the United States, Thailand, Japan, and China by 2026. In China, the company is simultaneously establishing joint ventures, developing local production capabilities, and building strategic channels to facilitate its long-term market presence.

The Wave Beijing event will launch on April 21 at the Sheraton Beijing Lize Hotel, with subsequent events planned in Chengdu, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. By partnering with local joint ventures, Wontech aims to enhance its Target marketing efforts in each city while fostering connections with local healthcare professionals and partners.

At these events, Wontech will showcase three products that have received certification from China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA): Picocare Majesty, Picocare 450, and Lavieen.

The Picocare Majesty employs a 1064 nm wavelength laser to selectively target pigments, making it effective for removing black tattoos and improving melasma. The Picocare 450 treats sun-induced pigmentation with a 532 nm wavelength and addresses tattoos and melasma using a 1064 nm wavelength.

Lavieen is designed for vaporizing, coagulating, and treating skin tissue, as well as addressing benign pigmented lesions. These three products will serve as a foundation for sales growth by demonstrating their clinical reliability in the local market.

A Wontech spokesperson emphasized that given the distinct demands and market characteristics of each city in China, it’s crucial to enhance both brand awareness and product credibility in the key locations. Through the Wave events, it aims to strengthen the relationships with Chinese healthcare professionals and partners, which it expects will translate into significant sales growth.

The spokesperson added that this series of events in China will solidify Wontech’s position as a leader in the Asian market.
