Pharmaresearch announced on the 1st that it has signed an agreement to acquire U.S.-based cosmetics OEM/ODM company CG USA to respond to growing demand for its Rejuran Cosmetics brand and to establish a more stable supply chain in the American market.

CG USA operates a production facility in California and has full capabilities spanning product planning, formula development, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and quality control.

The company also holds cosmetics manufacturing licenses, a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-registered facility, and a quality management system compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), enabling it to produce over-the-counter (OTC) products.

Pharmaresearch decided on the acquisition as demand for Rejuran Cosmetics continues to expand, particularly through Sephora stores and Amazon channels.

Previously, the company supplied products manufactured in Korea to the U.S. market. With the acquisition of CG USA, it now secures a local production base, improving supply chain efficiency across production, logistics, and distribution, while enhancing responsiveness to the market.

Based on this, the company plans to strengthen supply stability in North America and expand further into Canada, as well as broader North and South American markets, through a localized strategy.

Rejuran Cosmetics is a premium dermo-cosmetics brand built on Pharmaresearch’s regenerative medicine technology. It is centered on DOT® c-PDRN, a skin regeneration ingredient derived from salmon DNA fragments, and is expanding its presence in the U.S. market. Expansion into Canada is also planned for the second half of the year.

Pharmaresearch CEO Sohn Ji-hoon said, “The acquisition of CG USA is a strategic decision to strengthen supply stability and expansion capability in the North American market,” adding, “Through this deal, we have secured a local production base and also gained potential for expanding our ODM business in the U.S. in the medium to long term.”
