BTS member Jimin’s solo track “Who” has surpassed 25 billion streams.
According to Spotify’s global chart on August 1, the title track from Jimin’s second solo album, released in July 2024, has amassed a staggering 25 billion plays as of July 30. This milestone sets a new record for Jimin’s solo discography.
“Who” is a hip-hop rhythm and blues (R&B) fusion that captivates listeners with its explosive beat right from the start. The song poignantly explores the bittersweet longing and confusion for someone the singer has never met.
The track made its mark on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 12 on August 3, 2024, and maintaining its presence on the chart for an impressive 33 weeks. It dominated the Billboard Global 200 and Global (excluding the U.S.) charts for two consecutive weeks, with extended runs of 74 and 89 weeks respectively. In the UK, “Who” debuted at No. 4 on the Official Singles Top 100 chart (July 26-August 1, 2024) and held strong for 28 weeks.
“Who” continued its success into 2025, landing at No. 57 on Billboard’s year-end Hot 100 chart. The track’s popularity was further cemented when it clinched the title of K-pop Song of the Year at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
