BLACKPINK member and solo artist Rosé has dropped a new track as part of a global campaign.
The Black Label released Rosé’s latest digital single, “New Trick,” along with its music video at 8:00 a.m. (KST) this morning. The new song was produced in collaboration with Apple’s Shot on iPhone campaign. Acclaimed director Dave Meyers helmed the project, capturing the free-spirited and energetic essence of youth through visually striking imagery.
“New Trick,” a gritty garage punk track, embodies a defiant attitude of overcoming life’s challenges and wounds in Rosé’s unique style. The song reunites Rosé with producers Amy Allen and Andrew Wells, the team behind her mega-hit “APT.” Their collaboration further accentuates Rosé’s vibrant and distinctive musical identity.
The track and music video for “New Trick,” which showcase Rosé’s unparalleled charisma through this high-profile brand partnership, are now available on various music streaming platforms.
Rosé first burst onto the scene in 2016 as a member of BLACKPINK, gaining worldwide fame with hits like “Whistle,” “Playing with Fire,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “Pink Venom,” “Shut Down,” and “On the Ground.” In 2024, she renewed her group contract with YG Entertainment while opting to continue her solo endeavors under The Black Label. Since then, Rosé has cemented her status as a formidable solo artist with releases such as “APT.,” “Number One Girl,” and “Toxic Till the End.”
