Stray Kids made a confident comeback, promising to showcase their versatility and talent.

The group held a press conference on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. (Korean time) at the Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their new mini-album THIS & THAT.

Bang Chan kicked off the event by highlighting their impressive achievements both at home and abroad over the past year. He expressed enthusiasm about their hard work and evolution, urging fans to anticipate their multifaceted activities.

Stray Kids is set to drop their mini-album THIS & THAT and its title track on Friday at 1:00 p.m. (Korean time). Following their groundbreaking SKZ IT TAPE ‘DO IT’, which made them the first global act to top the Billboard 200 chart for eight consecutive weeks, this new release has garnered significant attention from fans worldwide.

Seungmin addressed their Billboard 200 streak, emphasizing their focus on giving their best rather than chasing accolades. He expressed hope for positive results while prioritizing connecting with listeners through their music.

The press conference also touched on the topic of Grammy submissions. Seungmin tactfully sidestepped direct confirmation, instead reaffirming the group’s commitment to their musical journey.

He elaborated on their creative process, stating that their songs stem from heartfelt conversations about music they love. Seungmin expressed gratitude for K-pop’s global popularity, acknowledging music’s power to impact lives and their dedication to sharing their art with a wide audience.

Addressing the new Asian Pop category at the Grammys, Hyunjin maintained that their focus has never been on breaking records. He emphasized their goal of demonstrating versatility and prioritizing fan satisfaction above all else.

Lino thoughtfully discussed potential military service, viewing it as a natural duty. He assured fans of the group’s eventual reunion, expressing a desire to reciprocate their support post-service.

Reflecting on their massive world tour last year, which spanned 56 shows across 35 regions, Seungmin revealed the group’s ongoing ambition to reach new audiences and perform on diverse stages.

Prior to their new album release, Stray Kids launched their latest world tour RUN IT with shows at Seoul’s KSPO Dome on July 25-26, July 29, and August 1-2.
