TUIDE member Seoyeon opened up about her older sister Jihyo.
On Monday, TUIDE (consisting of Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Sea, and Ihanui) held a media showcase at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their debut mini-album TUNE & PLAY. The group performed their title track “SUN KISS” and engaged with reporters about their debut.
When asked about the advice her sister Jihyo, a member of TWICE, gave her before debuting, Seoyeon shared that Jihyo told her that since we spend more time with the members than the families, it’s important that we become pillars of support for each other.
Seoyeon added that Jihyo also encouraged them to perform gracefully, creating a heartwarming atmosphere at the event.
TUIDE is the first artist to debut under ABD, HYBE’s new label specializing in girl groups. Their debut album TUNE & PLAY features five tracks that blend various musical styles into a cohesive rhythm, embodying the concepts of TUNE and PLAY.
The title track “SUN KISS” explores the moment of trusting one’s own voice and instincts while focusing on internal rhythms and emotions. It’s described as a song that flows effortlessly yet remains memorable, with an addictive quality that makes listeners want to hum along. The album is set to drop at 6:00 p.m. (Korean time) Tuesday.
