On Tuesday, TWS (consisting of members Shin-yu, Do-hoon, Young-jae, Han-jin, Ji-hoon, and Kyung-min) released the “Transfer Roommate” episode of their self-produced variety show “TWS: Club” on their official YouTube channel. This content, which cleverly parodies dating reality shows, adds a delightful touch by featuring the actual roommates as they take on the roles of former roommates X in search of new pairings.
Shin-yu expressed his longing, saying that he wishes X would only look at him, while Young-jae eagerly dove into the quest for new connections. Do-hoon, who had initially bid a clean farewell, found himself conflicted upon seeing Ji-hoon, admitting, “Now that I see your face…” Han-jin’s resolve wavered when Kyung-min remarked that he hopes X chooses him again.
The members cleverly shared memories of their living arrangements, personalities, and habits, creating an intriguing mix of tension and humor. In other news, TWS’s latest Japanese single, “SODA SODA,” released on August 4, sold over 225,000 copies in its first week, shattering their previous local sales record. The title track topped the Billboard Japan Japan Hot 100 chart, cementing their strong popularity in the country.
Riding this wave of success, TWS is set to embark on their 2026 TWS TOUR ’24/7: FOR: YOU IN JAPAN. The group will kick off with solo concerts in Fukuoka from August 28-30, followed by shows in Hyogo and Kanagawa in September, where they’ll connect with their Japanese fanbase.
