The City of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board have officially declared a week-long “BTS Week” to celebrate BTS’s world tour in the city.

According to the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board on the 1st, the city and tourism authority designated September 1 through 8 as “BTS Week” to coincide with BTS’s “ARIRANG” world tour performances at SoFi Stadium. An official proclamation ceremony was held at Los Angeles City Hall on August 31.

BTS will hold four sold-out concerts at SoFi Stadium on September 1, 2, 5, and 6.

The City of Los Angeles organized the event to welcome fans from around the world while highlighting the influence of Korean culture and the special connection between BTS and the city. On the evening of September 1, Los Angeles City Hall will be illuminated in red to symbolize BTS’s new album, “ARIRANG.”

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said, “We proclaimed ‘BTS Week’ based on our belief that art and culture connect communities. We are proud to honor BTS’s contributions to global culture and celebrate our special connection with them.”

Eileen Hanson, Chief Marketing Officer of the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, said, “We hope this event, held to coincide with BTS’s return to SoFi Stadium, will encourage even more visitors to experience the diverse attractions Los Angeles has to offer.”
