BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Teases Concept for New Solo Single “CLICK”
YG Entertainment, Jisoo’s agency, revealed on Tuesday that teasers and cover images for her upcoming single “CLICK” were released on official social media platforms on August 28 and 31.
The visuals showcase Jisoo in a mechanized setting, embracing a robotic teddy bear. The dark palette and industrial props create a captivating blend of reality and virtual aesthetics.
The music video for “CLICK” is helmed by Joseph Kahn, the acclaimed Korean-American director known for his collaborations with pop icons Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Eminem, and Lady Gaga.
This release marks Jisoo’s return to the music scene, coming approximately 11 months after her collaboration with Zayn Malik on “EYES CLOSED” last October. Fans can expect “CLICK” to drop on music streaming platforms on September 4 at 1:00 p.m. (KST)
Jisoo, who debuted with BLACKPINK in 2016, has been a key player in the group’s global success, contributing to chart-toppers like “Whistle,” “Playing with Fire,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “Kill This Love,” “How You Like That,” and “Pink Venom.” Since launching her solo career in 2023, Jisoo has been balancing her music endeavors with acting pursuits, showcasing her versatility in the entertainment industry.
