Seong-hyun, a member of the K-pop group Cortis hailing from Daejeon, has shared exclusive behind-the-scenes shots of his ceremonial first pitch for the Hanwha Eagles.
On Tuesday, Cortis’ official social media accounts lit up with Seong-hyun’s behind-the-scenes photos from his August 30 appearance at the Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon. The snapshots captured moments from the 2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League game between the NC Dinos and the Hanwha Eagles.
The images showcase Seong-hyun donning the Hanwha Eagles’ signature orange uniform, striking dynamic poses that exude energy and enthusiasm. Fans were particularly drawn to several shots of the idol earnestly practicing his pitch with Hanwha’s star player, Lee Sang-kyu, just moments before the game commenced.
Prior to his pitch, Seong-hyun endeared himself to the crowd by introducing himself as the Son of Daejeon and rallying support for the players, earning thunderous applause from the stadium.
Cortis, which debuted in August of last year with their hit single “What You Want,” has been making waves in the K-pop scene. The group has garnered a devoted following for their unique Young Creator Crew concept, where all members actively contribute to music composition, choreography, and video production.
