Former NewJeans member Danielle shared a rare update on social media after a two-month hiatus.

The K-pop star took to Instagram, posting a photo with the enticing caption, “Wanna travel together?”

The snapshots showcase Danielle striking a pose in a monokini swimsuit paired with a chic checkered shirt, gazing directly at the camera. Another image captures the idol’s natural beauty as she takes a selfie in a white sleeveless top, effortlessly commanding attention.

Fans were thrilled by this unexpected glimpse into Danielle’s life, as it marks her first social media appearance since July.

In related news, NewJeans’ agency ADOR made headlines last December 29 with an official statement regarding the group’s lineup. They confirmed that after careful deliberation, Hae-rin, Hye-in, and Hani would be returning to ADOR. The agency also noted ongoing discussions with Minji about her potential comeback, emphasizing their commitment to fostering mutual understanding.

However, ADOR took a firm stance on Danielle’s situation, stating that they’ve concluded that continuing our partnership with Danielle as a NewJeans member and ADOR artist is no longer feasible. As such, they’ve officially terminated her contract. The agency further revealed plans to pursue legal action against a member of Danielle’s family and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Min Hee-jin, holding them accountable for the dispute and delays in the group’s reunion.

In the aftermath, ADOR has filed a lawsuit seeking penalties and damages against Danielle. Additionally, they’re pursuing compensation from the implicated family member and former CEO Min Hee-jin for their alleged roles in NewJeans’ disruption. The total sum sought in these legal proceedings amounts to a staggering 33.1 billion KRW (approximately 24.3 million USD).

Despite the ongoing controversy, ADOR celebrated NewJeans’ 4th debut anniversary on July 22. The agency released special films and content featuring Hae-rin, Hye-in, Minji, and Hani, notably excluding Danielle from the festivities.
