Global girl group KATSEYE’s music video for “Hooty Fruity” has hit the 100 million view mark in just 40 days.

HYBE and Geffen Records reported on Wednesday that KATSEYE’s “Hooty Fruity” music video surpassed 100 million YouTube views around 1:00 a.m. (KST). This milestone comes a mere 40 days after the video’s August 14 release.

This achievement sets a new record for KATSEYE, marking their fastest climb to 100 million views for any official video. The previous record holder was their “Animal” music video, which took 54 days to reach the same milestone.

The “Hooty Fruity” video dazzles with vibrant hues reminiscent of Brazil’s Carnival, visually capturing the song’s electrifying energy. The playful choreography, which cleverly mimics fruit-tasting, coupled with the members’ confident expressions, injects the video with infectious enthusiasm. A standout feature is the group’s wet-hair look and barefoot ensemble dance, which perfectly encapsulates KATSEYE’s signature blend of free-spirited and instinctively alluring charm.

With this latest feat, KATSEYE now boasts eight videos in their 100-million-view club. Their “Gabriela” performance video leads the pack with a staggering 360 million views, while their debut track “Touch” has sailed past the 300 million mark. Both the official music video and choreography version of “Gnarly” have each racked up over 200 million views. Hot on their heels, the “Gameboy” music video is poised to join the 200-million-view club soon.

KATSEYE, a six-member global girl group, is the brainchild of a collaboration between HYBE and U.S.-based Geffen Records. The group features Manon, Daniela, Megan, Lara, Sofia, and Yoonchae. Currently, KATSEYE is electrifying audiences worldwide with their ongoing THE WILDWORLD TOUR.
