The Korea Professional Football League is set to make its mark at the largest Korean cultural event in the U.S., the LA Korean Festival, to promote the K League.

The league announced on Tuesday that it will operate a K League promotional booth at the 53rd LA Korean Festival, taking place in Los Angeles, California.

The LA Korean Festival is a celebration of Korean culture, showcasing everything from cuisine to music. Last year’s event drew approximately 400,000 visitors. This year’s festival runs from October 1 to 4, featuring around 290 booths.

At the event, the league plans to introduce K League clubs and their home cities. Visitors can participate in interactive programs such as K League trivia contests, prize drawings, and special activities for children. Commemorative souvenirs will also be available.

The league will showcase its official overseas social media channels and the global streaming platform K League TV. This initiative aims to keep local fans connected with K League news and match broadcasts even after the festival concludes.

Plans are in place to create local content and engage in media outreach to boost the K League’s online presence.

Following last month’s successful K League Day viewing party in Tokyo, the league is now expanding its international promotional efforts to the U.S.

Through this event, the league aims to raise the K League’s profile in North America and foster relationships with local sports and cultural organizations.
