North Korea Fires Ballistic Missile Into the East Sea

North Korea launched a ballistic missile into the East Sea on the 2nd.

The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced via a mobile text message sent to the Ministry of National Defense press corps around 6:55 AM the same day, “North Korea has launched an unidentified ballistic missile into the East Sea.”

South Korea’s military is currently analyzing the precise specifications, such as the flight distance, altitude, and speed of the ballistic missile fired by North Korea that day.

This marks North Korea’s 13th show of force this year, and it’s the first in two weeks since the last missile provocation on the 18th of last month.

On the 18th of last month, North Korea fired several short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) into the East Sea.
