North Korea has linked the leadership of the Workers’ Party and Kim Jong Un to the nation’s strength, aiming to foster loyalty among its citizens. The regime also emphasized implementing party policies and prioritizing the people across various sectors, including culture, education, and agriculture, to bolster internal unity.

On June 13, the Workers’ Party’s official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, published a front-page editorial titled, Long Live the Great Party, Long Live Our Great Motherland! The piece asserted that without the Party, there is no motherland, positioning the Party’s leadership as the cornerstone of North Korea’s system and national development. The article highlighted Kim’s patriotic governance, efforts to strengthen national defense, and regional development initiatives, urging citizens to demonstrate loyalty and patriotism.

A theoretical article on the second page that thoroughly Implement the People-First Principle in the Cultural Sector, emphasized that culture, arts, health, architecture, and science must serve the people. It argued that cultural development should be guided by the needs and convenience of the people, with all cultural resources contributing to improving citizens’ welfare.

The third page featured an article stressing the importance of ideological and moral integrity among officials. Quoting Kim’s speech at the 80th anniversary of the Central Cadre School’s founding, it stated that solid ideology and noble morals are the twin pillars that uphold a revolutionary’s beliefs and character, calling for loyalty and moral character among workers.

Five exemplary workers selected by the Party were showcased on the fourth page. Through examples of coal miners, power plant workers, construction workers, farm leaders, and employees from the Information Industry Ministry, the article encouraged others to emulate these patriotic workers who diligently perform their duties.

The fifth page reported on wheat and barley harvests in South and North Hwanghae Provinces and Kaesong City, emphasizing the importance of timely harvesting, threshing, and drying operations. It stressed the need for agricultural workers and officials to take greater responsibility in achieving the grain production goals set by the Party’s 9th Congress.

An article on the sixth page discussed the need to quantify and digitize education. It advocated for the integration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR) into the educational system. The piece emphasized building a country of education and talent through the advancement of the national education information system and the expansion of dedicated educational networks.
