WeMade announced on Wednesday that WEMIX, a virtual asset issued by the WEMIX Foundation, has been officially listed on Kraken, a major global cryptocurrency exchange.

WEMIX, first introduced by WeMade in 2019, launched its own mainnet, WEMIX 3.0, in 2022. This listing enables Kraken users worldwide to trade WEMIX for USD.

The company emphasized the significance of the Kraken listing for enhancing WEMIX’s liquidity and visibility in Western markets. WeMade noted that WEMIX, which has already established a strong presence in domestic, South American, and Asian markets, is now poised to expand its influence among institutional and individual investors in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.

WeMade is currently gearing up to launch a new AAA-level game to bolster its WEMIX Web3 gaming ecosystem. The company recently unveiled StableNet, South Korea’s first dedicated Layer 1 blockchain for a KRW-based stablecoin.

Kim Seok-hwan, Vice President of WeMade, expressed his enthusiasm: It’s thrilled to partner with Kraken as it establishes strategic footholds in key Western regions, including the U.S. This collaboration marks a significant step in thejourney to cultivate a truly global blockchain ecosystem.

Looking ahead, WEMIX plans to leverage this Kraken listing as a springboard for further expansion. The company aims to secure additional listings on major exchanges and boost global liquidity, ultimately enhancing the accessibility of the WEMIX ecosystem worldwide.
