Samsung Electronics has claimed the top spot in the “Best TV Brands of 2026” evaluation published by the renowned American consumer magazine, Consumer Reports.
According to industry sources on Sunday, Consumer Reports released its TV brand rankings on February 20, based on a comprehensive assessment of reliability, customer satisfaction, and price competitiveness. Samsung Electronics secured the leading position with a total score of 74 points. LG Electronics followed closely with 72 points, while Roku and Sony scored 71 and 70 points, respectively.
The rankings were based on a survey of members who purchased TVs between 2015 and 2025, coupled with rigorous performance tests examining picture and sound quality.
The assessment criteria encompassed high-definition (HD and 4K) performance, HDR capabilities, motion blur reduction, and audio quality. Notably, data privacy and security features were also factored into the evaluation.
Samsung’s 65-inch OLED TV model achieved an impressive 91 in performance testing, placing it at the top of the rankings. This model garnered high praise for its expansive viewing angles, superior motion handling, and exceptional sound quality.
Consumer Reports lauded Samsung’s OLED TV, describing it as a well-rounded product that delivers outstanding overall picture quality, boasts top-tier HDR performance, and offers excellent audio, setting a new industry standard.
