RaonSecure subsidiary RaonMeta is partnering with a European extended reality (XR) content firm to expand its AI-powered virtual training platform globally.

RaonMeta announced on Tuesday that it has inked a deal with Polish company DiginVision for worldwide cooperation on XR-based vocational training content.

DiginVision specializes in XR content for on-site industrial training. The company targets manufacturing, construction, and vocational training markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa with its virtual welding simulator and artificial intelligence (AI) driven learning assessment technology.

Traditional welding training faces significant hurdles in equipment, consumables, and safety management, driving up demand for XR-based practice.

The partnership aims to distribute DiginVision’s industry-focused XR content through RaonMeta’s AI and virtual convergence training platform, MetaDemi. This collaboration seeks to build a virtual training model bridging Korea and Europe.

Welding will be the initial focus of their joint efforts. As welding demands both skill and safety, extensive practice before using real equipment is vital. Learners can train in simulated environments using DiginVision’s AI-enhanced learning assessment tools integrated into XR content, allowing them to monitor their progress and results.

Looking ahead, the companies plan to broaden their XR training content to cover various aspects of manufacturing, including metal processing, automation equipment, and industrial safety.

This agreement marks the first international partnership for MetaDemi. The platform’s content and technology partners have surged from 11 in 2024 to 40 at present.

Yoon Won-seok, head of RaonMeta’s MetaDemi division, stated that the collaboration with DiginVision represents a significant step in evolving MetaDemi from a domestic virtual training platform into a global hub for XR content. It’ll continue to work with diverse partners worldwide to set new standards in AI and metaverse-based education.

DiginVision Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Radoslaw Gauka commented that teaming up with RaonMeta opens doors for introducing the XR content to a broader range of training markets. It’s committed to expanding this partnership and nurturing industry-ready talent through the immersive training solutions.
