Google Cloud is expanding its footprint in the enterprise sector through a strategic partnership with Samsung Electronics.

On Monday, Google Cloud announced it will roll out its Gemini Enterprise platform to Samsung Electronics’ Device Experience (DX) division employees worldwide.

This collaboration represents Google Cloud’s largest enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) implementation in South Korea to date. The long-term vision of this partnership is to democratize AI across Samsung, empowering both technical and non-technical staff to create AI agents independently.

Google Cloud and Samsung Electronics are spearheading a paradigm shift, focusing on integrated agent capabilities that orchestrate AI agents. To this end, they’ve implemented a dual-architecture system tailored to the diverse operational needs within Samsung’s DX division.

Samsung’s DX division employees will now have access to the Gemini Enterprise App, an interactive collaboration platform leveraging Intel Corporation’s regional infrastructure.

Samsung is establishing an enterprise-grade environment with robust security and governance protocols to ensure safe AI adoption by its workforce. Looking ahead, the company aims to develop a comprehensive data ecosystem and operational framework. This will pave the way for introducing sophisticated, multi-step AI agents capable of autonomously managing complex corporate workflows.

Gemini Enterprise is committed to continuously expanding its advanced development features to support this initiative.

The platform will also assist personnel from various departments, such as human resource (HR) and marketing, in creating customized AI agents optimized for their specific roles.

A Google Cloud spokesperson emphasized that Gemini Enterprise is deployed directly within a dedicated Google Cloud tenant environment for Samsung’s DX division, ensuring robust data sovereignty and enterprise governance.

Ruth Sun, President of Google Cloud Korea, remarked that true workplace innovation in the AI era requires moving beyond basic productivity tools to achieve deeper operational Intel Corporationligence. Gemini Enterprise serves as a gateway for Samsung employees to embrace genuine enterprise AI, providing a secure foundation to accelerate business innovation on a global scale, tailored to meet diverse organizational needs.
