LS Electric Showcases Its Flagship Power Solution at DCW

Wednesday, LS Electric announced that it will join Data Center World 2025, North America’s largest data center exhibition, set for April 15 to 17 in Washington, D.C.

LS Electric makes its debut at the event and plans to unveil a wide range of custom power and automation solutions for data centers.

The company showcases its flagship power solutions, such as the superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL), which recently won an innovation award at CES. Other highlights include the nation’s first UL-certified distribution system, power distribution units (PDUs), and remote power panels (RPPs). For automation, LS Electric presents high-performance inverters essential to data center cooling, including the energy-efficient H100 inverter and the compact SP100 inverter.

LS Electric has increased its focus on the data center sector. Last month, the company signed a major power solution supply contract worth about $120 million with a leading North American tech company.

The North American data center market sees record growth as digital technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing drive a sharp rise in data processing needs. The rise in demand for high-performance computing (HPC) underscores the need for energy efficiency and a stable power supply. This trend is expected to raise demand for high-voltage infrastructure and power distribution systems.

By 2028, power demand in data centers will grow at an average annual rate of 11%. With AI data centers included, the rate could climb to between 26% and 36%.

LS Electric focuses strategically on the U.S. distribution market, recognizing its strong growth potential. The company plans to build deeper ties with local power companies and emphasize brand localization to secure a solid position in the market.

Through its U.S. subsidiary, LS Electric built a strong distribution network and an efficient service system across North America, which enables fast responses to customer needs. The company set up a local design, production, and supply system based on its distribution subsidiary, MCM, with facilities on the Bastrop campus, Texas, and in Utah.
