The agreement, announced March 26, covers collaboration on operational technology and industrial control system security compliance.

The partnership targets companies pursuing overseas expansion as global cybersecurity regulations tighten. Major frameworks including the EU’s Cyber Resilience Act, the Network and Information Systems Directive, and the U.S. NERC-CIP standards are expanding their reach, driving increased security demands for industrial facilities and OT environments. Compliance with international standards such as IEC 62443 has become a critical requirement for companies entering foreign markets.

Under the agreement, SK Shieldus will handle security assessments and consulting, while TUV SUD will manage testing, auditing, and certification services. The two companies also plan to identify new certification business opportunities and strengthen joint marketing efforts for companies seeking compliance support.
