The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) President Gianni Infantino has revealed that U.S. President Donald Trump will attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup final in North America and present the trophy to the victorious team.
Speaking on Fox News’ Fox & Friends on Tuesday, Infantino stated that it’ll enjoy the final with the President and hand over the trophy to the winning team together.
When asked if he would be presenting the award alongside the President, Infantino confidently replied that they’re always together.
The World Cup final is scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
President Donald Trump has been making appearances at major sporting events recently. The U.S. is co-hosting this World Cup alongside Canada and Mexico.
