The music video for ILLIT’s hit single “It’s Me” has hit a major milestone, surpassing 100 million views on YouTube.

HYBE’s music label Belift Lab announced that the music video (MV) for “It’s Me,” the title track from ILLIT’s fourth mini-album MAMIHLAPINATAPAI, crossed the 100 million view mark at approximately 3:14 p.m. (Korean time) on July 18. This marks the second time the rising K-pop group has achieved this impressive feat.

The video reached this milestone just 79 days after its April 30 release, outpacing the group’s debut single “Magnetic,” which was their first to hit the 100 million view mark.

Nearly three months post-release, “It’s Me” continues to dominate Korean music charts and has maintained a strong presence on Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts for ten consecutive weeks as of July 18. The track has also gained traction on TikTok, ranking on the platform’s Viral 50 chart as of July 17, with over 1.54 million videos featuring the song’s original audio.

In other news, ILLIT is set to make waves in Japan this summer with the release of their second Japanese single “I Got Your Back.” The digital release is scheduled for July 26, with physical albums hitting stores on July 29.

Since their September 2023 debut, ILLIT has been steadily building their fanbase through consistent releases. Their latest mini-album MAMIHLAPINATAPAI, dropped on June 30, explores the complexities of human connections. The album’s title, a unique word meaning the shared look of desire between two people wishing to initiate something but both reluctant to start, reflects the group’s exploration of deepening relationships and the emotions they entail.
