BTS has once again proven their unrivaled global influence by dominating the top spots on Spotify’s newly launched Global Music Video Chart.

On Tuesday, the streaming giant Spotify officially unveiled its Global Music Video Chart, which ranks videos based on daily streaming figures. This innovative chart encompasses all video content on the platform, from official music videos to live performances.

BTS’s music video for “Normal,” a track from their fifth studio album Arirang, impressively claimed the second spot. The group’s dominance was further emphasized by their remarkable feat of placing six entries within the top ten. “Normal” led the charge at number two, followed by “Swim (Live at Pier 17)” at fourth, “2.0 (Live at Pier 17)” in fifth, “Swim” at sixth, “Normal (Live at Pier 17)” securing seventh, and “Merry Go Round” rounding out their presence at eighth. Both their official music videos and electrifying live performances have clearly struck a chord with music fans worldwide.

The “Normal” music video, released on July 17, offers a refreshing glimpse into BTS’s authentic selves, peeling back the layers of their glamorous stage personas. It poignantly captures the tranquil moments following emotional highs, presenting the members’ unvarnished daily lives in a way that deeply resonates with viewers. Riding this wave of enthusiasm, “Normal” made a splashy debut at number nine on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart on July 17.

In a star-studded event on July 19, BTS shared the spotlight with pop icons like Madonna, Shakira, and Justin Bieber as co-headliners for the 2026 International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) North America World Cup final halftime show, captivating a global audience. Their chart-topping hit “Dynamite” experienced a significant boost in streaming numbers following the landmark performance. Luminate, the data analytics firm behind Billboard’s chart tracking, reported a 13% surge in U.S. daily streams for “Dynamite,” jumping from 142,000 on July 18 to 160,000 on July 19, further cementing its status as a record-breaking sensation.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2013, BTS has consistently delivered hits like “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and “Permission to Dance,” solidifying their position as the world’s premier boy group. Following a brief hiatus, they dropped their fifth studio album Arirang in March, which dominated the Billboard 200 chart for an impressive three weeks straight. The group is currently electrifying audiences worldwide on their global tour.
