The K-pop sensation Cortis (CORTIS) has etched their name in music history by achieving the remarkable feat of becoming a triple million-seller with a single album.

According to the latest weekly album chart released by Circle Chart on Thursday (covering July 12-18), Cortis’s mini-album GREENGREEN has amassed a staggering 3.099 million sales. This groundbreaking achievement comes a mere 11 weeks after the album’s release. In the Korean music scene this year, only two albums have crossed the 3 million sales mark on Circle Chart: BTS’s fifth studio album ARIRANG and Cortis’s mini-album.

Cortis’s debut mini-album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, released last year, has also surpassed 2.15 million in cumulative sales on Circle Chart. This brings the group’s total album sales to an astounding 5.25 million copies from just two releases within 11 months of their debut. Industry insiders are particularly impressed by both albums’ sustained sales performance, defying the typical pattern of short-lived popularity.

GREENGREEN made waves on its release day, selling approximately 1.2 million copies (according to Hanteo Chart) and instantly achieving million-seller status. The album’s momentum continued, surpassing 2 million sales in just four days and recording first-week sales of 2,313,291 copies. This figure dwarfs the 436,367 first-week sales of their debut mini-album, underscoring Cortis’s meteoric rise in popularity.

Cortis’s success extends beyond domestic borders, with impressive performances on global charts. GREENGREEN debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 (dated May 23), marking the highest chart position for any K-pop boy group that debuted in the last five years. The album has maintained its chart presence for an impressive 10 consecutive weeks. On the streaming front, Spotify reports that tracks from the mini-album have collectively surpassed 300 million streams as of July 20.

Riding the wave of their domestic and international success, Cortis is set to take North America by storm. The group will embark on their 2026 CORTIS TOUR IN NORTH AMERICA from August 4 to 16, with performances scheduled in six cities including Toronto and San Francisco.

Before the tour kicks off, Cortis will grace the stage at Lollapalooza Chicago on July 31 and August 1. As the sole K-pop boy group invited to this year’s festival, they’re poised to captivate American music enthusiasts with their electrifying performances.

Since their debut in August last year, Cortis has solidified their position in the industry with the success of GREENGREEN. Their Young Creator Crew (YoungKk) aesthetic has particularly resonated with Gen Z fans, cementing their status as icons of this generation.
