Log Angeles Football Club (LA FC) forward Son Heung-min has claimed the top player rating on his team after scoring in four consecutive Major League Soccer (MLS) matches.
Son found the back of the net in the 37th minute of the first half during LA FC’s 2026 MLS away match against the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada on August 2. His goal helped secure a 1-1 draw for his team.
This latest strike extends Son’s impressive scoring run to four straight games, following goals against the LA Galaxy on July 18, Real Salt Lake on July 23, and Sporting Kansas City on July 26.
If you include his two-goal performance in the MLS All-Star Game on July 30, Son has now scored in five consecutive matches.
Son’s 37th-minute goal came from LA FC’s first shot of the game, and he went on to lead the team with three total attempts on goal.
The South Korean star recorded one touch inside the opponent’s box and successfully completed one dribble. Despite facing tight marking, he also drew three free kicks for his team.
Soccer statistics website Footmob awarded Son the highest rating among LA FC players with a score of 7.7.
Another reputable statistics site, SofaScore, gave Son a rating of 7.6, placing him second only to teammate Aaron Long, who received a 7.7.
