The girl group ILLIT’s song “Cherish (My Love)” has hit a major milestone, reaching 200 million streams on Spotify.

Spotify reported on Tuesday that the title track from ILLIT’s mini-album I’LL LIKE YOU has amassed an impressive 200,041,157 streams as of September 9. The group, consisting of members Yoona, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, and Iroha, continues to make waves in the music industry.

“Cherish” is a catchy dance-pop number that showcases ILLIT’s bold charm. The lyrics express curiosity about a love interest while asserting the importance of self-love. Upon its release, the song made a significant impact, charting on Billboard’s Global 200 and Global (Excluding the U.S.) charts.

ILLIT has been making waves on Spotify, with seven of their tracks joining the billion-stream club. Their breakout hit “Magnetic” set a new record for K-pop debut songs, reaching 800 million streams in just over two years and one month. Following this success, “Cherish,” “Tick Tack,” and “Not Cute Anymore” have each surpassed 200 million streams. Additionally, “Lucky Girl Syndrome,” “Borrowed Cat,” and “Jellious” have all crossed the 100 million stream mark.

Since their debut in September 2023, ILLIT has been steadily gaining popularity through consistent releases and promotions. The group is currently promoting “I Got Your Back,” the title track from their second Japanese single released last month, further expanding their international reach.
