Christopher Nolan’s epic Odyssey has sailed past the 5 million viewer mark at the box office.

The Korean Film Council’s integrated ticketing system reports that on Monday, Odyssey drew in 620,983 moviegoers, maintaining its reign at the top of the box office. The film’s total audience has now reached an impressive 5,163,460.

This achievement means Odyssey hit the 5 million viewer milestone in just 13 days, outpacing this year’s domestic blockbusters The King’s Warden and Colony. For comparison, The King’s Warden took 18 days to reach 5 million, while Colony needed 24 days.

Odyssey follows the legendary hero Odysseus (Matt Damon) who, after leading his army to victory in the decade-long Trojan War, embarks on an epic journey to return to his wife Penelope (Anne Hathaway) and son Telemachus (Tom Holland) during the king’s absence.

Meanwhile, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton, held strong in second place, drawing 261,761 viewers on the same day. Its total audience has now swung to an impressive 7,541,134.

This fourth installment in the Spider-Man franchise, coming five years after its predecessor, sees Peter Parker (Tom Holland) dealing with the fallout from Spider-Man: No Way Home. As a mysterious foe who remembers his secret identity emerges and Peter grapples with uncontrollable new powers from a DNA mutation, he must face fresh threats to protect his loved ones in this high-octane superhero spectacle.

Rounding out the top three, the animated feature Teenieping: Legend of the Whale Heartstone reeled in 64,552 viewers, bringing its total audience to 698,079.
